Weekly Learning Forum of the African Center for Early Childhood Development
The African Center for Early Childhood Development (AFC-ECD) is hosting weekly learning and discussion forums every Monday to bolster institutional growth and operational excellence. These sessions, which focus on institutional development, diverse early childhood concepts, and scientific methodologies, are playing a pivotal role in building the capacity of its members.
Led by both internal staff and invited guest speakers, these weekly forums serve as vital platforms for professional development, knowledge transfer, improved performance, and enhanced employee motivation.
Since their inception, the forums have covered a wide range of critical topics, including the Global Family Support Framework, the current state of pre-primary education in Ethiopia, time management, leadership and mindfulness, and the implications of the South African G20 Summit on early childhood development. Participants have noted that these sessions have not only enabled them to exchange diverse ideas and expertise but have also significantly boosted staff morale and engagement.
